Broccoli – Cauliflower Salad
This recipe is so versatile! Use just broccoli, add chicken, add chopped red onion, omit the the sugar, etc. What’s even better about this salad is it’s better when made the day before! Enjoy. 😉
1 head broccoli – chopped
1 head cauliflower –
1 cup mayonnaise
1 cup sour cream
1/2 cup sugar (optional!)
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 lb crumbled bacon
Rinse, chop, and drain broccoli and cauliflower and add to large bowl.
In separate bowl, combine mayonnaise, sour cream, sugar, and salt to make a dressing.
Pour dressing over broccoli and cauliflower and stir to evenly coat. Then stir in the cheese and bacon. Save a little to add to the top for garnish.
Refrigerate until ready to serve.
